We are looking for motivated Kingdom minded young leaders.

The Advanced Leadership Intensive for Emerging Leaders cohort, tailored for individuals 18 - 30, is a transformative nine-month program dedicated to developing the next generation of Christian leaders in the New York City Metro area. This cohort places a strong emphasis on character development and fundamental commitments of leadership, while equipping young leaders with the necessary skills to excel in today's fast-paced environment. Through a blend of mentorship, hands-on learning, and practical exercises, participants will deepen their faith while refining their abilities in communication, decision-making, and ethical leadership. By fostering a supportive environment and offering personalized guidance, the institute empowers emerging leaders to leave a lasting impact both locally and globally. This is for leaders in the local New York, New Jersey, and surrounding areas.

Cohort Course Themes

Each monthly meeting will be comprised of intentional learning labs, networking,
movement on a collaborative project toimpact the city of New York and mentoring.
Partipants will work in large and small groups during our time together.
Each cohort will be capped at 20 people. This is for leaders in the local New York,
New Jersey, and surrounding areas.

We will meet in person on the following dates:

  • September 3  - 6:00-8:30 pm
  • October 18 - Movement Day - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • December 17 - 6:00 - 8:00 pm
  • January 28 (January 27-29 is Pastor’s Prayer Summit)
  • March - Teams Meet - 6:00 - 8:30 pm
  • May 13 - Graduation and Presentations - 6:00 - 8:30 pm

We will meet online from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on the following dates:

  • November 26
  • February 18 
  • March 11
  • April 8

Vandalyn Kennedy

Vandalyn Kennedy

Vandalyn Kennedy is a dynamic figure, blending entrepreneurship with leadership in ministry. With over 20 years of experience, she's recognized for transcending secular-sacred divides, and empowering individuals to achieve their goals. As the founder of Bridging the Gap (BTG), she offers human capital solutions, including leadership development and consulting services. Vandalyn's extensive educational background includes degrees from Sarah Lawrence College, Columbia University, and Union Theological Seminary, alongside certificates from Princeton Theological Seminary. She has a rich history in education and youth advocacy, spanning over 25 years. Currently, she holds leadership responsibilities within the Church of God in Christ, overseeing youth, youth leaders and initiatives globally, impacting millions within the organization.

Jon McCallon

Jon McCallon

Jon McCallon is a veteran of full-time ministry for over two and half decades. His 23-year marriage to his wife, Dustye, and the joy of raising their three beautiful daughters, has been a testament to God's grace unfolding in their lives.

In 2021, he founded a design agency, House Blend, that brings Kingdom ideas to life for busy leaders, and in 2023 launched the Unlocked Conference, a one day event in mulitple locations designed to encourage minstry leaders and unlock their ideas.

Josh Miles

Josh Miles

Josh Miles has nearly two decades of experience in both ministry and business, helping people and organizations take the next steps towards growth. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Movement.org where he helps implement kingdom vision of transforming New York City and global cities for Christ.
