Movement.org seeks to catalyze leaders to spiritually and socially impact their cities. The Ministry Coordinator will have a vital role in implementing the NYC and Global Strategy through administratively supporting the founder, working with NYC and global leaders, and leadership in Movement.org events.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Founder Support
● Provide logistical and administrative support to the founder
● Be a good representative of the organization in all communication and interaction with Movement.org partners, board of directors, donors, and leaders
● Participate in the weekly Movement.org team meeting
Metro NYC & Global Involvement
● Build and sustain relational connection with Movement.org’s network of local leaders and on occasion global leaders
● Under direction of the founder, actively recruit and facilitate NYC pastors, leaders, and donors to participate in Movement.org events and initiatives
Event Leadership
● Facilitate on zoom the weekly NYC Tuesday Prayer gatherings as well as the monthly First Thursday Prayer and Global Movement Day Learning Community meetings
● Provide administrative and logistical support for Movement.org events including the annual Pastors’ Prayer Summit (January), Museum of the Bible (May), Movement Day NYC (October), and Board Meetings (May and October)
● Implement, execute, and manage a recruitment strategy for Movement.org events
Work Hours and Benefits
● Primarily remote full-time position with occasional early morning, nights and weekends required
● Travel to in-person meetings for staff, donor, and Movement.org events
● Generous PTO package including vacation starting at 3 weeks accrued per year plus accrued sick time

Salary Range
Annual: $70,000 – $75,000
Qualifications and Education Requirements
● Demonstrated Christian character and values; knowledge of the Bible and the Christian worldview
● Must be incredibly detailed-oriented while understanding the organization’s larger vision
● Ability to interact with people from different cultures, classes, and backgrounds
● Administrative capacity to manage different project simultaneously
● Critical thinking and ability to solve complex logistical problems is essential
● Self-starter requiring minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks
● Team player with a positive attitude
● Able to schedule meetings and follow ups with team and stakeholders
● Experience in non-profit organizations and/or working with a founder is highly desirable
● Authorized to work in the United States
